Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA has announced the appointment of Sylvain Lagier as its new Vice President of Operations.

Sylvain joins the third-party hotel management company from Brightstar Hospitality, where, as Group Operations Director, he was responsible for leading the company’s UK hotel portfolio.

His role involved both operational and commercial strategy, overseeing guest experience and owner returns to ensure budget delivery across a portfolio of trading hotels.

Sylvain started his hospitality career 25-years-ago, as a financial controller assistant at Hotel New York in Disneyland Paris, before moving into management and leadership roles with Accor and Atlas Hotels.

In his role at Aimbridge, Sylvain will oversee operations within Region 3, a portfolio of more than 25 Aimbridge-managed properties throughout the UK, across a number of brands including Mercure, Accor and Radisson.
