Courtyard by Marriott has officially opened its doors in Ghent, bringing 174 stylish guestrooms and a fresh energy to one of Belgium’s most dynamic cities.

Designed by Athens-based Urban Soul Project, the interiors offer a contemporary feel with hybrid zones for work and rest, indirect lighting, and a calming neutral palette. Splashes of blue throughout the hotel nod to local influences, while the lobby’s striking silver ceiling adds a bold architectural touch.

Guests can enjoy two distinct dining experiences. Brasserie Stroom serves up Belgian classics and craft beers in a relaxed setting, while ARNO, led by Michelin-starred chef Louis Verstrepen, offers refined Italian cuisine with a Belgian twist. With a focus on seasonal ingredients and elegant presentation, ARNO is set to become a standout destination in Ghent’s culinary landscape.

The hotel also features a 24/7 fitness centre with Technogym equipment, a dedicated weightlifting zone and hydration station—ideal for guests keeping up their wellness routines on the road.

For meetings and events, Courtyard Ghent offers a high-spec boardroom and direct access to SCALA, a brand-new 750m² event centre opening this month. With nine flexible rooms, cutting-edge tech including an 8×1.7m LED wall, and capacity for large-scale product launches or intimate gatherings, SCALA adds significant value to the hotel’s offering.
