Aimbridge EMEA has been appointed to operate the 350-bed Hilton London T5 hotel at Heathrow Airport. The Aimbridge EMEA division has been awarded the contract due to an existing successful partnership.

The four-star property is situated on a 12.5-acre site with extensive facilities including five food and beverage outlets. Uniquely for the Heathrow Airport site, the hotel also boasts more than 1,700sq m of event space, with an 855sq m Gallery Room capable of holding up to 1,150 delegates.

It’s also home to 17 flexible meeting room spaces, an executive lounge, a business centre, gym, and full-service spa.

David Anderson, Aimbridge EMEA’s Divisional President, said: “We’re thrilled to be announcing this news so soon after launching the new Aimbridge EMEA identity.

“Under the Aimbridge name we are rapidly expanding our portfolio and drawing on our extensive experience of operating Hilton properties worldwide.”

The Hilton London T5 hotel is located at Heathrow – the largest airport in the UK, the busiest in Europe and the seventh busiest in the world, in terms of passenger traffic.

David added: “This is a great hotel, in a great location. It not only serves the community of passengers flying into and out of Heathrow Airport but has also built up a strong reputation for delivering corporate events for the businesses clustered around the Heathrow corridor.

“We are looking forward to leveraging our scale and top talent to build on the hotel’s solid foundations and optimise owner returns.”

Just 10 minutes’ drive from Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 with a shuttle bus in operation to T5 every 15 minutes and outstanding connections to the A4, M4 and M25 motorways, it is the ideal location for both business and leisure travellers.

The Aimbridge Hospitality global portfolio, inclusive of managed and pipeline properties, now stands at more than 1,500 hotels in over 20 countries.
