Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Aimbridge Hospitality’s international division, has expanded its European team with two senior appointments. 

Sabina Wyss di Corrado joins the leading third-party management company in the newly-created role of Vice President of Development – Europe.

Nicole Turnhout-Ammerlaan takes the role of Vice President Operations – Western Europe.

The two appointments further strengthen Interstate’s pan-European presence of 113 trading hotels and committed pipeline, including 11 properties under management and nine pipeline hotels across Belgium, France and The Netherlands.

Sabina Wyss di Corrado brings over 17 years’ experience in development, advisory, operations and lecturing in travel and hospitality to her new role. This includes senior positions at PPHE Hotel Group, Christie & Co, TRI Hospitality Consulting and the ICT, following operational roles across Europe, Latin America and Australia.

Sabina’s appointment with Interstate will see her take the lead on new projects and signings across Europe, with a focus on both existing markets and new territories.

Nicole Turnhout-Ammerlaan joins Interstate from IHG, where she worked for seven years as both General Manager of a flagship Crowne Plaza Hotel in Amsterdam and an Area General Manager, following more than a decade in commercial and operational posts at NH Hotels Group in Europe. Nicole is also a board member of the Hotel Leaders’ Network advisory board in The Netherlands and an examinator, guest lecturer and board member at the prestigious Stenden Hotel School.

In her new role as VP Operations – Western Europe, Nicole will be based at Interstate’s Amsterdam office and responsible for leading Interstate’s operations across the region.

The appointments follow Interstate’s appointment of Jean-Charles Denis, former Vice President Commercial for Europe at IHG, to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.
