The budding seaside town of Blackpool has officially welcomed its first Hampton by Hilton branded property, Hilton’s global value hotel brand. The hotel now joins an existing 26 Hampton by Hilton properties in the UK, in locations such as London Stansted Airport, Edinburgh and Liverpool City Centre.

The anticipated opening offers leisure and business travellers alike access to Hilton’s renowned hospitality in one of the UK’s top seaside destinations. Located in the heart of the town, Hampton by Hilton Blackpool is the latest addition to its restored and regenerated sea front.

Crowned as Britain’s top seaside destination, Blackpool had 18 million tourists visiting in 2017 – an increase of one million compared to the previous year. The seaside town is set for further accomplishments and economic growth, as more than £100m worth of new investment is being made this year alone . Blackpool already offers a range of experiences for all travellers, including the Blackpool Tower, the Grand Theatre and the Tower Circus. For those seeking some extra thrill, Pleasure Beach is the town’s well-known amusement park – home to ‘Pepsi Max Big One’ – one of the world’s tallest and fastest rollercoasters.

Hampton by Hilton Blackpool makes the perfect getaway in this bustling seaside town. Situated on the sea front, the hotel provides guests with picturesque views of the Irish Sea across the hotel. Guests can choose from 130 guestrooms with some including beautiful sea views and stylish decor. The hotel’s Eat Zone captures Blackpool’s culture and heritage through artwork, whilst the lighting represents its notorious illuminations – adding a special touch to the hotel’s ambience.

For those looking to catch up on some work or relax, the hotel has both a Work and Living Zone. The Work Zone is perfect for catching up on emails, reading or researching on some of the great local attractions. The Living Zone provides an open space to refresh alongside some snacks and beverages. The hotel is also conveniently located a 10-minute drive away from the motorway and well connected to the National Rail network, which will see direct trains to and from London later this year.

“It is a pleasure to be bringing Hamptonality to Blackpool – authentic, warm and friendly service, as we open the city’s first hotel in the last six years,” said Beverly Smith, general manager at Hampton by Hilton Blackpool. “We look forward to welcoming some of the millions of visitors the city brings every year and providing them with a stay they’ll never forget.”

Hampton by Hilton Blackpool also has easy access to the city’s world-famous trams, as they run directly past the hotel and offer the opportunity for guests to ride along the seafront to the market town of Fleetwood.

“Blackpool is undergoing a significant regeneration at present and we’re thrilled to be a part of that process with the opening of our latest managed property, the Hampton by Hilton Blackpool,” said Nicholas Northam, Managing Director for the UK at Interstate Europe Hotels & Resorts. “The seaside town is renowned as a hotspot for holiday makers and we’re confident that the new hotel will prove popular with its many visitors.”
