Interstate Europe Hotels & Resorts has been named as the new management company behind the Ramada Encore in Bournemouth.

The third-party management firm has signed a deal to manage the 113 guest room property, located within walking distance of the town’s famous seven-mile stretch of beaches.

Nicholas Northam, managing director for the UK at Interstate Europe, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome the Ramada Encore hotel in Bournemouth into our growing portfolio.

“Its location on the south coast of Dorset is a prime spot for visitors in search of a break by the sea, with numerous award-winning beaches on the hotel’s doorstep.

“Coupled with the hotel’s meeting facilities, the property already proves popular with both leisure and corporate guests alike and we’re looking forward to building further on this.”

The hotel is less than two hours south of London and just a ten minute walk from the beach. It is also within easy reach of Bournemouth Pier and the Bournemouth International Centre, host to many party political conferences.

The acquisition of the Ramada Encore takes Interstate Europe’s operational UK portfolio to 71 properties.
