Krishna’s passion for driving sales has excelled her career within Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and we wanted to get to know more about her time in this role.
The attraction to Staybridge was having the opportunity to put forward new and creative ideas to drive sales. The reason I applied for this position is because I have extensive experience in the extended stay industry and felt that I would be the right fit for this role, having experience in a long stay agency and IHG. What was attractive about Aimbridge is that they offer support to develop your long-term career plan. Aimbridge also has advanced, robust sales tools in place that are already adapted to the hotel. This makes it attractive for the Sales Managers to work consistently and as a collaboration with the rest of the portfolio, especially in Birmingham.
Aimbridge is a very well-established global hospitality management company within the hospitality industry because they are recognised for their strong strategic approach towards achieving the hotels’ goals and objectives. Working with Aimbridge gives you the ability to exceed your goals in-line with the future of the business. During my time with Staybridge Suites Birmingham I have been able to develop my skill set and present in front of the commercial team every quarter and also at the budget review. This has given me the opportunity to understand where the business sits within the market place in terms of ‘extended stay’ and what else we need to do to drive sales. One of the key elements in this role is having the ability to manage several relationships consistently and thoughtfully. I believe I have now mastered this with the support from the General Manager and commercial team.
