Hotel management company, Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, has announced the appointment of Kym Kapadia as its new Senior Vice President Commercial.

Kym brings substantial commercial experience to the role, having worked across a variety of hospitality operator types spanning owner-managed, asset and third-party management.

Previously, Kym spent ten years as Vice President Commercial for Michels & Taylor, a leading hotel management and advisory business. As a founding board member, she built out the commercial disciplines within the business and was recognised for her excellent owner relations, acting as custodian for many of their primary accounts.

From there, Kym moved to Chief Commercial Officer for Aprirose Real Estate and was responsible for performance and asset value of all Aprirose hotels.

Prior to these positions, Kym worked in senior revenue management positions across numerous brands including Hilton, Whitbread, IHG and Marriott.

Kym’s appointment follows a strong first quarter for Aimbridge EMEA – the international division of Aimbridge Hospitality, welcoming nine new properties and more than 1,000 guestrooms to its portfolio since the turn of the year.
