Interstate Europe Hotels & Resorts has opened its 71st UK hotel – the Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End. The property, which is located centrally in Edinburgh city centre near Haymarket rail station, houses 228 bedrooms and an Urban Café coffee shop.

Nicholas Northam, managing director for the UK at Interstate Europe, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End officially open.

“The hotel is ideally located to suit both corporate and leisure guests and, with the inclusion of the external coffee shop – the Urban Café – we’re hoping to capitalise on the growing residential direction of the Fountainbridge area, too.”

The hotel follows a number of recent openings for Interstate Europe in Scotland, with the Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Airport, Hampton by Hilton Dundee City Centre and Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Westhill all opening in the first quarter of 2017.

Nicholas added: “Our Scottish portfolio has grown significantly in 2017 with a trio of new hotel openings there already this year.

“Edinburgh West End is a fantastic addition to our operational portfolio and to the city’s already vibrant visitor economy.”
